Akermin hires new Chief Technology Officer

Chicago, IL - Treva Partners joins Akermin, a leading developer of biocatalysis technology, in welcoming Dr. Alex Zaks as its new Chief Technology Officer. Reporting to the CEO, Alex will oversee Akermin's research and development organization as well as determine the overall technical strategy for the company. Treva Partners worked closely with Akermin's CEO and Board on this critical search assignment.
Prior to joining Akermin, Alex was an executive with Schering-Plough/Merck, responsible for managing its technology organizations and instrumental in the development of several new pharmaceuticals. Alex started his career with Enzytech after completing his Ph.D. studies at MIT. Born and raised in Russia, Alex brings depth and perspective to Akermin's technology development needs, including the sensitivity necessary to succeed when working within and across diverse areas.
